NSAIDs: Non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are often used to treat pain associated with endometriosis. oligomenorrhea: Infrequent menstruation. oral contraceptives: Also known as birth control pills. Used to prevent pregnancy. ova: Eggs (singular ovum). ovaries: The twin female sex organs that produce eggs. The ovaries are connected to the uterus by the fallopian tubes.
